Patricia Skeriotis Presents : Vacation! – Part 13 (Honolulu)

Honolulu, Oahu!

Oahu is one of the largest of the Hawaiian islands and is often called “the Gathering Place.” Oahu is home to the capital of Hawaii : Honolulu.

This tropical paradise has inspired things to do both on and off the beaten path.

The city offers all that modern society has to offer, with high end restaurants and up to the minute styles. You can get all of your shopping done at a laid back, island-time pace and enjoy the gorgeous weather while you’re at it.

The weather stays between 70 and 80 degrees all year round. The natural splendor of wild flowers and lush greenery greet you even in the dead of the continental winter.

If you’re feeling outdoorsy, the island has plenty to offer you. Embrace the warm, crystal clear waters of the Pacific Ocean by snorkeling, kayaking, cage diving with sharks, stand up paddle boarding, kite surfing, and a whole host of other activities.

Or enjoy the natural beauty of the land of the island by hiking up a waterfall of volcano and enjoying the view.

This island has much to offer the curious visitor. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

Should Patricia Skerioits and her dog Myko visit the island?
